The Alnico IV Classic is a matched humbucker set that is pick sensitive, rich in harmonics and with a tight bass.

When you crank the gain, these pickups saturate quickly and start to “sing” harmonically, with a vocal, flutey quality – the mark of a great PAF!

All AC4 pickups are fully wax potted to avoid microphonic feedback, and come with supplied with #3/48 screws, springs and an installation guide.

Available individually or as a set.  Four conductor wiring as standard on all models.

Great pickup and very pleasantly surprised!

For many years I've always gravitated towards Alnico V pickups and occasionally Alnico ll for PAF's but after finally taking a punt on some Alnico lV's I'm eating humble pie and enjoying it!

Fantastic sounding pickups. Bright in the right way, plenty of bite and growl, nice tight bass and some fun 'pick chirp' to play with too. Definitely enjoying these and would recommend them 100%

All about the Sound

Installed in my LP guitar and gave me the sound I was looking for. I recommend these pickups for those P.A.F Tones.

so good

These are so, so good. Installed in my Ibanez IC400 (mahogany, maple top) and give the full, fat yet articulate tone of any high priced pickup. I’ve simply stopped buying other more expensive brands, Tonerider brings the goods. I’ve also got a Generator in the bridge of my IC300, along with a Rebel 90 in the neck, which sounds sick.
