Our first Alnico 2 Tele set offers blues and jazz players warm, rich trebles and superb sustain, whilst still maintaining enough tele-twang on the bridge pickup to keep up with country licks.

The Bridge Pickup is wound on a grey fibreboard bobbin and wrapped with white string, and a copper-plated ferrous baseplate. The Alnico rod pole pieces are staggered in height, with a higher third and fourth string.

The neck pickup features our in-house Nickel-Silver cover for tonal transparency, and we include wood screws for direct mounting to the body, and two #4/40 pan head screws for use when mounting the pickup to a pickguard.

Each pickup is fully wax potted to reduce any microphonic feedback, and comes supplied with screws, latex height adjustment tubing and an installation guide.

My Knock Off Thinline?

Have a Jay Turser ? cheap suddenly takes over the tele's. Really killer with a treble bleed also keeps low cleans I don't know if there is is a better budget pickup thanks to ytube John Robson in England review said they were great no lie

wonderful!

I’ve been playing jams and gigs for months with this neck pickup in my Classic Vibe ’50s, mostly along with acoustic instruments. Wow it sounds great and blends well. And it’s awesome with any model selection in my Positive Grid Spark, too. What a wonderful pickup!

great vintage sound!

Replaced the standard pickups in my MIM Player Tele (maple finger board) with this Alnico 2 Blues set. Lower output compared to most modern aftermarket pickups for the Tele. These just sound vintage. Neck or bridge. These are my favorite Tele pickups. They work great with pedals so you can push the front of the amp a bit harder with some boost from a pedal as the output is noticeably lower than most modern pickups. If its the vintage vibe you are after these have got in spades. I’m not talking the original Fender 50s vintage tone. These have a vintage vibe all of their own. Warmer with a very big but super tight bass response. They still work well with heavy overdrive and fuzz but have such a lovely clean tone also. If you like the tones of yesteryear these will not disappoint.

great sounding

Great toneriders, 2nd set installed in my Fenders. Lower output with more tone, less breakup through valve amp until one turns up the gain. More sustain on clean settings and can be set high,- closer to the strings without that magnetic pull warbling sound occurring.
