P90 Soapbar Sets

Laser-cut, hand-bevelled flatwork.
USA-made vintage hook-up wire for easy installation.
Foam and nickel-plated screws are included with every pickup.
All coils bound with fabric tape, removing the chance of damage.
All coils scatterwound on our 999-step CNC winding machines.
All coils wax-potted to avoid feedback at high-gain settings.
All sets are RWRP - offering noiseless operation in notch positions.
Note: All our Hybrid 90 soapbars and Rebel 90 pickups are available as sets and individually.

DogEar P90s: We currently don't offer the "dogear" style P90 pickups that are used on the John Lennon Casino Epiphone as well as numerous Les Paul Junior guitars. We are working on tooling the parts for these and they should be ready before the end of 2009.

Vintage 90 Soapbar Pickups

Alnico II Magnets for great sustain.

Our Vintage 90 set uses Alnico II magnes for great sustain and unrivalled clarity. The Nickel-Silver baseplate and braided wire add to the vintage vibe of these great looking soapbars. RWRP allows for hum-cancelling operation with both pickups in parallel.

The all-round vintage-improved package - great sustain, smooth, powerful, with the brightness and tonal complexity of boutique handwound pickups.

Hot 90 Soapbar Pickups

Cut through the mix and demand to be heard!

Cast Alnico V makes for a fatter, more powerful P90 sound with a more sizzling, richer bass than the Vintage 90. Full 50s-style construction and attention to detail makes our Hot 90 the best choice for the rock and hard-blues player.

DC Resistance: 7.9k (neck), 8.4k (bridge)
Available in black or zebra, or with highly polished gold or silver covers

Hybrid 90 Soapbar Pickups

Scatterwound on fibreboard bobbins, our Hybrid 90 set uses a hybrid magnet set in both the neck and bridge positions. The result? Great sustain and unrivalled clarity with plenty of true p90- kick with the volume up high, and sweet and mellow with the volume rolled back. All the Vintage p90 tones are available, with enough bite for the modern player. RWRP allows for hum-cancelling operation with both pickups in parallel.
