Alnico II Classics Set - AC2

The “Improved” Fifties Humbucker.

A superb set for guitars that need more warmth and more sustain.
The earliest Gibson Patent-Applied-For (or “PAF”) pickups used a range of magnets, but PAFs made with Alnico II have always held a special place in many a guitarist’s heart. If you have ever heard someone describe a PAF as “flute-like” or “more like a single coil than a humbucker - then that’s the Alnico II working its magic.
We made a few of these pickups back in 2007 and they quickly became favorites, and continued with custom orders for guitarmakers throughout 2008. Now, the Alnico II Classic set is back as an affordable addition to our range. Dealers will have stock in late April.

Alnico IV Classics Set - AC4

Our take on the ever popular PAF-tone.

Pick sensitive, rich in harmonics and with a tight bass. A superb set for the Blues guitarist or a vintage-inspired rock player. This set is voiced for the maple/mahogany style of Les Paul-style guitars.

Used by some of the world’s leading custom guitar makers, our Rocksong set is the perfect hybrid vintage set. This set retains 100% of the boutique hand-wound tone that players demand.
The neck pickup is smooth and sustainful - perfect everything from jazz to distortion saturated rock. The bridge pickup is based on a super-charged PAF, offering power and dynamics with a clear top end.

Generator Set - TRH2

Cut through the mix and demand to be heard!

A full-blooded, harmonically rich neck pickup delivers rock and blues tones with power to spare, while the high-output bridge pickup can take you from bluesy rock to screaming solos. Rolling off the volume knob reveals great, useable clean tones.
